Off-Season Training
WinHawk Summer PlansThese plans are set-up to target specific athlete experience, interest and goals. Each plan is a temp-plate for you to start with and modify based on your specific goals and schedule. Be sure to modify it with the help of the Nordic and weight room coaching staff. Your first step: print it out and put it on the fridge! Your second step: commit to your plan!
Level 1 - Easy
Directed at first/second year skiers, or skiers serious about another summer sport program Level 2 - Medium
Directed at second/third year skiers, or athletes serious about skiing and another summer sport program Level 3 - Hard, aka "Section Race competitor"
Directed at third year skiers and older, or athletes with goals to do well at the Section Meet and qualify for the State Meet. There is some room to participate in another summer training program. Level 4 - Harder, aka "Hope it snows tomorrow!"
Directed at fourth year skiers and older, or athletes with goals to do well at the Section and qualify for the State Meet! There is little room to participate in other summer training program(s) |
Professional Programs
A selection of organizations below offer Junior Development programs in the Upper Midwest. While not a complete selection, these are the established programs present in Minnesota and Wisconsin. **Be sure to thoroughly read through each organization's material. These programs are available to anyone and provide considerable 1-on-1 skier technique and aerobic development.
